Can parents attend the clinic?
Parents are encouraged to attend the clinic as much as possible. As parents we like to know what goes on with our children at all times. We encourage this along with any feedback.

How is your staff chosen and what type of coaches does it consist of?
Are coaches are made up of high school coaches, college coaches, college players, metro and AAU coaches and former players. There is also a trainer on hand at all times to attend to minor scrapes and bruises. The coaches will all be required to have a CORI (background) & SORI check prior to the start of camp. We have a certified trainer on hands at all times. The staff that we choose are normally high honors students in high school and college who are well respected in there respected communities, along with teachers.

What is your player to coach ratio?
Our staff to camper ratio is approximately 1:7. There will be no more than ten participants to a team, which allows maximum playing time for everyone. There will be smaller groups of instruction and as much individual attention as possible.

Do you offer any other programs after the Summer?
We offer a Pre-Season weekend program at Dean College and Governor Dummer Academy. For 6 Sunday mornings in the Fall, campers can sharpen their skills to get ready for the upcoming season. We also offer a Winter Break Clinic in Cambridge and Dean College

How many participants come to your camps?
We have grown every year, and last year(our third year) we had approximately 750 campers over the summer and fall. Day camps usually run between 75-115 .

Why is there so much emphasis on fundamentals?
In today’s game fundamentals seem to be a lost art. The proper way to shoot a basketball, shooting off the dribble, how to set and roll off a screen, proper footwork ( inside and outside pivoting) on offense and defense, triple threat position, and progression dribbling will be some of the skills participants will be learning.

What is included in tuition?
Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt, Tomorrow’s Stars basketball, written evaluations – which will include what aspects of basketball that a participant is good and also recommendations that may be able to improve a player. There will be a trophy ceremony where some campers will receive trophies for outstanding accomplishments for the week. There will also be giveaways during the week. Some of the individual awards include campers of the day, free throw, hustle, most valuable player and others.

Can we bring our whole team?
This is highly recommended and we encourage it.

What about lunch at the day camps?
A snack bar will be available the Day Camps that lunch is included. Items included will be ice cold sodas, bottled water, Gatorade, snacks and gum. Lunch is included at locations and is posted on the brochure if available.

What is a typical day like at the day camps?
Here is a typical day at the clinic. Naturally, times and events could change slightly from time to time
8:45-9:00      Staff meeting
9:00-9:15      Attendance, stretching
9:15-9:30 Dribbling warm ups – all kids will have balls in there hands 
9:30-10:00 Dribbling Lines – Progression Dribbling
10:00-10:45 Stations: 6 at 8 minute stations. Dribbling, shooting, passing, triple threat, rebounding, and pick and roll.
10:45-11:20  Games/Team practice & free throws
11:20-12:00  Team practice, free throws/games
12:00-12:45  Lunch
12:45-1:00    Staff meeting: Campers of the day nominations, etc.
12:45-1:20     Lecture: Moving without the ball- L cuts, V cuts, curl, fade and opposite direction
1:20-2:00      Three-on-Three tournament
2:00-2:45      Games/Team practice, shooting drills
2:45-3:15      Team practice, shooting drills/games
3:15-3:30      Phrase of the day (Intelligent Choices) Camp wrap-up, camper of the day

How do you accommodate players with different skill levels?
We divide campers up by gender, age and ability. We evaluate the progress of a player and make determinations if someone needs to be moved up or down in accommodate participants.

Will I get directions to camp?
Approximately five weeks before the start of camp we will mail out directions along with some tips on what to bring and registration info.
